Tributes
The great Emy. A brother is given by nature, and death can not take that bond away. I have always admired you growing up. Your death indeed was not fair to us all as a family as it happened to you and our elder sister Esther in quick succession, but then what can we ordinary mortal men say ? The good book says God gives, and God takes. Who can question the one who rules in the affairs of men?
Your confidence and ease of communication will always speak to our hearts. You wake us up early every day with your good wishes, which has created a vacuum at your passing. Family converge has never remained the same. We are all incomplete, but your spirit still fills the room. Goodbye, dear brother, your journey has ended, but your love will carry on in our hearts. Saying goodbye is not always easy, but knowing you are at peace with your maker brings much comfort. Rest on, Brother Emy.

Let me be honest I haven’t seen Daddy since I was 12 (33 now) so it’s been years. However I can still remember his charming smile and his playful nature. As a child not all adults had the time for you but whenever we visited he had our time and believe me when I say it those are th e memories that stick. It’s a shame that we won’t get to see that charming smile on earth but I know that Daddy is in a good place resting and we will see his smile again one day.

Emmy Boy. My Paddy of no regret. Partners in d good , d not so good, d not so fine!! It is with great pain I hv to do a tribute on your passing on. We started our journey & remarkable relationship from 1978 when you came to d defunct Nnsl. Ultimately you left for d growing Federal govt Steel mill at Itakpe. You left but we remained together as more of a family than a friend. We mutually watched our families grow & matured. Beautiful fruits of our labour!! My family & I are truly thankful to d Almighty for making us meet. A relationship that had no regrets, full of joy & understanding. You remained a joy to always have around! My brother stay well, sleep well until we meet again to part no more.
